# Multiswitch complexes

Multiswitch complexes refers to rotaries and buttons/toggles working together to produce more button numbers than the individual switches could do alone.&#x20;

There are four variants:

* Hybrid rotary
* Multifunction rotary
* Modded encoder
* Stacked encoder
